Massage, Energy, & Bodywork

“What should I expect during my session?

All first time visits will include an initial consultation with one of our therapists. You should expect to fill out a short health form and discuss any issues such as injuries, areas of tension, or physical conditions.

“What if I do not know what kind of bodywork is best for me right now?”

Call or e-mail us. We are happy to hear your wellness goals and help determine what type of bodywork is best for you. We will discuss your goals as well as the details and benefits of any treatments you might consider.

“What will I wear during the session?”

Depending on the treatment or type of massage, you may be unclothed to the extent that you feel comfortable. For instance in Swedish massage, the disrobed client is fully covered by a sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed. Clients choosing Reflexology, Acupressure or a head/neck/shoulders massage remain fully clothed. At no point will your modesty be compromised at BlissBlissBliss.

“What modalities of bodywork are offered at BlissBlissBliss?”

We offer an array of services at Bliss with licensed, skilled practitioners. Massage and Bodywork modalities include:

Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Body Scrubs, Ayurvedic Massage, Couples Massage, Rain Drop and Stones, Hot Stones Massage, Cranio Sacral Therepy, Energy Tapping (EFT), Intuitive Guidance, Polarity Balancing, Sacred Childbirth, Reflexology, and Reiki.

Spa packages are also offered where you can arrange 1-4 hours sessions where we pamper you with an array of scrubs, steam, oils, stones and yoga. You can choose one or all of these for a personalized spa day at your request.

Appointments & Cancellations

“Do I have to schedule a massage or yoga class or can I drop in?”

Yoga classes are always open on a drop in basis, and offered 7 days a week multiple times a day. Registration for classes is best during winter months when classes may be cancelled last minute. If you haven’t registered check our schedule or facebook page to see if a class has been cancelled.

Workshops are generally longer in duration and held on weekends.  Some workshops do require pre-registration and payment upon registering.

Massage and Bodywork clients do need to schedule in advance. Our trained, professional, staff are all independent contractors and manage their own schedules.

“What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?”

Please contact us in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. You can call or e-mail your practitioner directly or leave a message on the Bliss phone (304-413-0270) as soon as you know that you will miss your scheduled appointment. Your consideration allows us to manage our wait list.

Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel your session within 24 hours without a charge. Same-day cancellations result in full charge of the service.

“What happens if I do not call or show up for a scheduled appointment?”

If you do not call and do not show up for your appointment, we charge the full fee of the session. If you cancel 24 hours prior to your session you will not be charged.

“Should I cancel if I am sick?”

Please contact us if you are ill and we will discuss your symptoms to determine if you should reschedule your appointment or if bodywork could be beneficial. Most bodywork is not recommended if you have a fever. However, some illnesses respond to acupuncture, reflexology or other treatments which offer healing relaxation to your body.
